Presshouse Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026 ยท Effective: October 3, 2026
Presshouse builds websites for apps, publishers and small businesses. You describe what you want, Presshouse makes a brand guide and a website, and you publish it. You pay with credits.
This policy explains what information we collect when you use presshouse.app and build.presshouse.app, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It is written to be read, so it starts with the short version.
The short version
- What we collect: your account details, what you put into Presshouse, payment details (through Stripe) and how you use our websites, through cookies and Lens, our own visit recorder.
- Why: to run Presshouse, keep it secure, answer you, and make it better.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
- Your choices: you can ask to see, correct, download or delete your information. Visitors in Europe are asked before anything optional runs, and Global Privacy Control is honored everywhere.
- Questions: email support@presshouse.app.

1. Who we are
Presshouse is operated by Intentionally Creative LLC, a New York limited liability company doing business as Presshouse, a Get Creative company ("Presshouse", "we", "us"), at 4465 E Genesee St., Syracuse, New York 13214, United States.
If you use Presshouse for your business: for the information you and your team put into Presshouse about other people (your customers, contacts and colleagues), you decide how it is used and we process it for you under our Data Processing Addendum. This policy covers the information we collect about you as our customer and the people who visit our websites.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers presshouse.app and build.presshouse.app, the Presshouse app and the emails we send. It does not cover other companies' sites or services, even when we link to them.
3. The information we collect
| What | Examples | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Account details | Your name, email address, company, role, sign-in codes and settings | You |
| What you build with | Your idea, app or business details, brand assets, text and images for your site, and what you ask the AI | You |
| Payment details | Billing name and address, the last four digits and brand of your card, and payment history (full card numbers stay with Stripe) | You, through Stripe |
| Website visits (Lens) | Pages, clicks, scrolling, time on parts of a page, page speed, errors, device and browser type, the site that sent you, campaign tags, and a replay of the page with typing hidden | Your browser |
| Support | What you write to us and our replies | You |
| Technical information | IP address (used for security and abuse prevention, not kept with Lens visits), browser and device type, and error reports | Your browser and device |
We do not ask for sensitive information such as health details, government ID numbers or precise location.
4. How we use it
We use your information to:
- provide Presshouse, operate your account and do what you ask
- power Presshouse's AI features (see below)
- answer your questions and requests
- keep Presshouse and our users safe, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems
- understand how Presshouse is used and improve it, mostly with Lens and with aggregated information
- take payments, send receipts and keep financial records
- comply with the law and enforce our terms
AI and your information
Presshouse uses AI to write, design and build your brand guide and website. To do that, the text, images, audio or files a feature needs are sent to AI model providers that process them to produce the answer and return it to us. Read How We Use AI for what that means in practice.
- What your workspace teaches the AI (your facts, your voice, your preferences) is kept for your workspace and is used to serve you.
- We may use information that has been aggregated or de-identified, so that it no longer identifies you or your business, to improve our products.
- AI makes mistakes. Where an answer or action matters, a person reviews it or you are asked to confirm.
- No AI decision made by Presshouse has a legal or similarly significant effect on you without a person involved.
Legal bases (Europe, the UK and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Providing the service and your account | Performance of a contract with you |
| Security, fraud prevention and fixing problems | Our legitimate interest in a safe, working service |
| Lens and other analytics | Your consent in Europe; our legitimate interest in improving our sites elsewhere |
| Complying with the law | Legal obligation |
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only in these cases:
- Service providers that host, send, process or secure information for us under contracts that limit what they may do with it. The list is in Service Providers and Subprocessors.
- Your workspace. If you use Presshouse through a business account, the account's owner and administrators can see and manage what you do in it.
- Integrations you choose. When you connect another service, we exchange information with it as you direct.
- Legal reasons. When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of you, us or others.
- Business changes. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may move to the new owner, who must honor this policy.
- With your consent in any other case.
6. Cookies, local storage and Lens
We use a small number of cookies and browser storage items. Necessary ones keep the site working and remember your choices. Analytics ones help us understand visits. The full list, with how long each lasts, is in our Cookie Policy.
Lens, our own visit recorder. Lens shows us how people use presshouse.app and where it gets in their way. It records the pages you open, where you click, how far you scroll, how long you look at parts of the page, how fast pages load, errors, the kind of device and browser you use, the site that sent you and any campaign tags in the link, and a replay of the page as you saw it. Anything you type into a field is hidden in your browser before it is sent. Lens uses your IP address only to block abuse, does not store it with your visit, and never sells or shares what it records.
- Ids it keeps in your browser: a random visitor id, and a visit id that joins the pages of one visit and is replaced after 30 minutes without activity.
- How long: replays are deleted after 90 days, and the record of pages and clicks drawn from a visit after 400 days.
- Linking to you: a visit is linked to you only after you submit a form on the site (for example a sign-up, a contact form or a quote step), and then only by a one-way fingerprint of your email address or the id of what you submitted.
- Your choices: if your browser sends Global Privacy Control, or you decline analytics, Lens keeps no ids, records no replay and never links the visit to you; it still counts the visit with nothing that identifies you. Visitors in Europe are asked before Lens keeps anything.
7. Emails from us
We send emails about your account and the service you use. We send product news only if you agreed to it, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.
8. How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Your account and workspace content | While your account is open. After you close it, we keep it 30 days so you can export it, then delete it |
| Messages you send us | Up to 3 years after our last contact |
| Lens replays | 90 days |
| Lens record of pages and clicks | 400 days |
| Payment and tax records | As long as tax and accounting law requires, usually 7 years |
| Security and error logs | Up to 13 months |
Backups. We keep encrypted backups so we can recover from a failure. Information you delete is removed from our live systems as described above but can remain in these backups, where nobody uses it. If we ever restore from a backup, we delete again anything that had been deleted.
9. How we protect it
- Connections to our sites and apps are encrypted (HTTPS), and our backups are encrypted.
- Each customer's data is kept apart by access rules in the database, our team's access is limited to the people who need it, and access to sensitive records such as visit replays is logged.
- Passwords are never stored in plain text; many of our sign-ins use one-time email codes instead of passwords.
- Payment card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
10. Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- see the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy in a portable format;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- stop marketing emails and texts (use the unsubscribe link or reply STOP);
- withdraw consent you gave, at any time, without affecting what we did before.
How to ask: email support@presshouse.app from the address you use with us, or use the settings in your account. We confirm who you are before we act, answer within 30 days (45 days where US state law allows), and do not charge for it. You can use an authorized agent; we will ask the agent for your signed permission and may ask you to confirm your identity. If we decline a request, we explain why and you can appeal by replying to our answer; we answer appeals within 45 days.
We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Your privacy choices
- Cookies and analytics: open "Cookie settings" in the footer of presshouse.app at any time.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of optional analytics on that browser.
